Made in China - supporting developed economies

Wherever we go to purchase anything (from clothes to electronics items) chances are it will be made in China. There are some people do not like this for different reasons. some says these are low quality products, some says shifting of manufacturing jobs etc. Are they really so bad? Are they really hurting economy of developed world? Well, I have different point of view on this topic. I think they are in fact supporting economy of the developed world and saving jobs in developed world. you must be surprised by my this sentence. I will try to argue why i say so.
Most of the average working class population in the developed world is living hand-to-mouth. Very few own house. salaries are good enough but they last as long as the month lasts. Situation is so bad that many families are living on credit card only. It has happened with some families that they can not eat outside if credit card is not accepted. They purchase so many items almost always that money is scarcely with them. Now imagine the scenario they start buying all local made products. Same family will need at least double income to have the same living standards or they will have to lower the living standards. Imagine this population start asking for salary hike by 100% (assuming local made products are double expensive than their made in china counterpart, in actual difference is more), prices of the local made product will also go up to cope with this salary hike of the employees. Many of the companies selling items here (like cars etc) and getting components from china will find difficult to make and sell their product in developed world with high salary of employees. One of the option for these companies will be to close down their shops. This closure of the manufacturing facility will again hurt the employees. So rather than saving jobs this action will trigger bankruptcy of the companies and lose of jobs and this loss of jobs will probably be larger than what is clammed now.
So we like this or not, Made is china products are supporting economy of the developed world and saying that jobs are going to China is not fully correct. It is, in fact, supporting companies to keep whatever jobs can be kept in service industry.
