Supreme court has banned Sanjay dutt from contesting election 2009. He is quite angry and showing his anger on everyone. Though he is restraining himself from blaming the apex court because that might cause more problem for his pending cases. So he has decided to blame congress in general and a minister in particular. It seems that the minister is Law minister but honorable Amar Singh has not told the name in public yet.
Now he is claiming that he did a sting operation and recorded his conversation with the cabinet minister who threatened him not to join SP. The time of revealing this information indicates that he was waiting for the Supreme court verdict.
I think that the Supreme court has taken right decision in barring him from contesting election. Though, apparently, he is running some very good charitable organisations for many years but it does not reduce the crime that has done in the past. Keeping AK 47 at home can not be justified by any means. It is not a toy you can buy from the local market or online. You have to know the right (or wrong?) people who do arms dealing. Though the court decided not to prosecute him under other serious accusations but his past still carries image of those dark ages.
If he really want to prove his worthiness he need to show his sincerity and he can work for the people of country or any constituency even without being an elected MP.
